The weekend and 37 Weeks and Patiently? Waiting...

Well Sunday we decided to have a BBQ at my parents house and have corn on the Cob here is little Kaitlyn chowing away. She loved it and would keep going back to her cob :-)

Monday morning I went to see the doctor and see how I was progressing since I have been off of bed rest for about a week. Well I am Not! I am still only dilated to a 1 so the waiting game begins... ;-)

I left the doctors office a little down  and frustrated that I hadn't dilated anymore because I thought he would come rather quickly once I got of my meds. guess not..  In fact the doctor started to joke and say I never thought I would have to give you the "first time moms usually go past their due date speech" I told him if we have to talk induction I am going to cry ;-)

But to look on the bright side he is now full term! Also the doctor said I should be good in future pregnancies since I have made it. Then Dean added yeah till she get pregnant in the other uterus. They both laughed! 

Dean is so cute right now, he keeps saying how he is okay with waiting he just doesn't like the guessing game of when. (he wishes we had the date of when it will happen) I have come to realize it is very stressful for the man he never knows when, so whenever I call or text him he always wonders if it is time... Poor guy! 

I am just patiently or sometimes not so Patiently waiting for my contractions to start and continue... (I have had a few contractions but they always go away) 

We are both excited to meet our little guy!

Things I will miss about Pregnancy...

There are some things I will really miss about being pregnant...and it hit me the other day that I will only be able to feel the things I do when I am pregnant a few times and I will miss some/most them. So I wanted to write them down so I don't forget them.

1. I love to feel him kick me

2. I love to feel the little hard heal or elbow that pokes out of my side everything now and then and then when I push on it a little it disappears somewhere inside me.

3. I love when he gets the hiccups and I see my belly bounce every few seconds

4. I love to be able to touch my belly and have him move it is such a bonding experience.

5. I LOVE when he is kicking me REALLY hard and I think he is going to break out, Dean will put his hand on my belly and he will stop kicking so hard. (He doesn't stop for me...)

6. I love that when I put something on my belly that makes noise like when I play pandora on my phone and put it on my belly or my scriptures that I play on my phone and put it on my belly he will start moving a lot. He does it at times when I sing too.

7. I love watching my belly move from the outside by feel it on the inside. It is a crazy site and crazy to think someone is inside me. (what a miracle)

8.I don't love when he is in my ribs, but I love if I put my hand on top of my belly it helps with the pain. 

 I love what a blessing it is that I am able to be pregnant and that I have been able to carry him as long as I have! I can't wait to meet him and hold him in my arms! I love him so much already!

Girls Day Out

Since I was taken off of bed rest Tuesday us Girls wanted to hang out before our little man makes his big debut. So Wednesday we (Mom, Michelle, Katie, and me) met at Asian Fusion Grill in Meridian to eat lunch! It was YUMMY!!! After lunch Michelle and Katie picked up their children from the baby sitters and we headed back to Katie's so us women could do Pedicures and the kids could play.

It was funny cause after us older women sat down to do our pedicures most of the kids wanted to do theirs as well! So Ashley decided to join in my tub to make her hands and feet soft :-)

 At first the boys or at least Taylor wanted to put his feet in the tub as well, but after a bit they wanted to be super heros so here is Batman, (Kayden) and Spiderman (Taylor) :-)

Up and Free!

Well this last weekend Dean and I headed to my parents for a few days. The doctor said as long as I hadn't been crampy I was okay to go. So we did, it was a lot of fun to hang out, chat, watch movies, and have a BBQ with my parents and Brian's little family. The corn was ready so we also ate a lot of that. Then Tuesday August 7th was a GLORIOUS DAY! I went to the Doctors and he told me I could stop taking my contraction meds and I was taken off of bed rest. Baby is still head down so no C-section as of right now as long as everything goes well and I am already Dilated to a 1 :-) So it can happen any day and Dean and I are ready and excited!!!

Since I was taken off bed rest on Tuesday Dean and I went on a date out since it had been a few months and we didn't know if we would get to do it again anytime soon. 

We started the date out by going to Beef O Brady's it is a sports grill We had never been there and we LOVE to try new places. It was a lot of fun and yummy!

 Then we headed to the Movies to watch BAT MAN! it was a lot of fun! It was such a great date and it was so fun to just be out and about with Dean! We sure love to hang out together!

After the movie we headed home. I was pretty sore and ready to lay down, so we headed to bed since it was late anyways. What a GREAT day!!

Only one week left!

 First I believe our Air Conditioning is FINALLY Fixed it went out again a few days after I blogged about it last time and they finally found out it was the connector. I am SO grateful! It was a VERY hot in my apartment for a few days! Lets just say I wont take it for granted again!

Second the picture below is of my nephew Taylor being Buzz. Cute I know! I went to my Sisters the other day to lay on her couch and hang out with my sisters and mom it was a lot of fun!

 Third I went to the Doctor today and... He said I have only ONE MORE WEEK of Bed rest! I can't believe that is it! At times I feel like I will never get off bed rest but now I am! Then it also hit me on the way home that I could be a mom holding my baby next week! CRAZY! So EXCITING! Doctor says I am good and next week I will stop my meds and get off all restrictions! My cervix is soft but hasn't started to Dilate yet so he was also happy about that.

Keep on Truckin 33 weeks!

Well I am still doing good. Went to the Doctor this week and not too much of an update he just said I am making it and he is excited. He didn't check me cause he didn't want to start anything up since I haven't really been crampy lately. He did tell me though in about 3 weeks all my restrictions will be lifted and I will be able to have him whenever he comes :-)

 THERE IS A LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL!!!

I have been doing good! Just finding things to fill me time. Dean has also helped me more then I could ever ask and he Never complains! I love and appreciate him so much! I have also had some great friends, family, and people in my ward come and visit or call me to keep me sane and do other kind acts of service!

Well to make our week eventful our AC went out during the night on Thursday, so I called Friday morning and the apartment lady said she would try to get someone there today but that they were working in Emmett. So I politely explained. I was pregnant and on bed rest and can't leave me apartment to get out of the heat. She said she would see what she could do. So I waited the AC company called later in the afternoon and said they were coming by this time my apt was in the 80's not horrible but bad. The AC guy showed up about 4:15 and then a guy from the apt complex with a swamp cooler. He said it was about 93 in the apt but that time and I was sweating I was so happy that they were here to fix it. The poor AC guy was here till 7 something. I felt bad cause it was a Friday night, but I was SO grateful! When he was about finished he came back inside from outside and I offered him water and he said he would love it but didn't want me to get up and I said ok... Well the cups are in that cupboard and the water is in the fridge help yourself! :-) Hahaha you could tell he felt a little funny going through my stuff but I was glad I could do something for him!

I have to say I feel SO GRATEFUL for the life I have. Sure this isn't always the funnest thing to do lay here all day. But then I think and remember this is just a short trial and I have a light at the end of the tunnel unlike many others going through hard times and trails they don't know when theirs will end! I love the fact that I get to see our sweet baby in just a few weeks! I am SO excited to see, hold, and  cuddle with him!

Life is Good!

32 weeks! Slowly making it!!!

Last week mom and Michelle came over to clean and put the nursery together...while I watched them from a laying position. Little Kaitlyn decided to play with grandma. She kept trying to get in Grandma's piles she was folding hahaha!

 

 Yesterday Both my Sisters and Mom came over to help me get the rest of the way ready for the Baby! My bags are now packed and the Nursery is put together( except for a few things that need to be put in a stackable that the girls are picking up for me) So Next week I should be TOTALLY ready! It is crazy to think in 3-4 weeks I can get off of my contraction meds and hopefully get off bed rest, because by that time he can come and probably come home with us and not have to stay in the NICU!

Here is to hoping he will stay in that long! If you asked me yesterday I would have said I don't think we will make it... But today I feel like we are going to make it :-)
