I got off work Tuesday morning drove home and my Mom and Dad showed up a few mins later. We loaded the trail blazer and the 5 of us took off to Montana for Thanksgiving. I slept the first few hours seeing that I just worked all night.
Max enjoying the ride up.
It took all day to get to Montana, we did have to stop at Walmart on the way for groceries and then we hit a snow storm on our way as well.
The next day the boys got up and went hunting for ducks. They of course loved it and talked all about it when they got home.
If you couldn't tell they got 30!
While the boys were out us girls stayed home and made pies for Thanksgiving.
So delicious!
Then Thanksgiving morning to announce we are expecting our next little one to the family we put a shirt on Max that said Big Brother on it.
We were both surprised when no one caught on for a couple hours.
Finally after about 2 hours my Brother in Law Mark came to Dean and I and said does Max's shirt really mean what it says. We confirmed and everyone got excited! My sister Katie was like what you didn't tell me! I told her Max had the shirt on all morning... :-)
After dinner we went to Greatfalls and did a little shopping. We also shopped a little on Friday.
Max and Dean taking selfies while hanging out.
On Saturday we went to Mckays parents house and took the kids sledding behind the four wheeler. Max Loved it, but after just a short time I had him come inside because it was -15 degrees and his cheeks were getting red. He was not to happy with me he is such a die hard when it come to being on a four wheeler or outside.
Later that night we put the kids to bed and us women had a craft night.
Sunday we went to my new Nephew Gavins blessing. He is SO handsome!
Gavin and I.
The whole crew of us that came. Brian and Whitney and their family couldn't come because Whitney just had a little baby the day before we all left. Awesome timing I would say. We were so glad we got to see him before we left as well.
After the blessing we traveled home. Lets just say Max was worn out after the week.
Love spending time with family! Miss the Swensens!
