A new Life lesson!

I know TWO blogs in one day! I NEVER do that but this is more for me and a life lesson, I learned this last weekend. I want to remember it so I will not make the same mistake and I will be humbled.

Ok so here it is I AM NOT PERFECT. I know SUPRISE! No I am kidding but I did realize how unperfect I was. So the story is, I went to a womens conference with my sisters and mother last weekend. So Dean decided to have a guys night out. I thought that was a Great thing to do while I was gone so he invited his guy friends. Well as I was on my way to Boise Dean called and asked if he could by a video game and then sell it later so he would only get back about two-thirds of what be bought it for. I let him know I didn't really like the Idea of spending 65 dollars on a game and only getting 50 of it back when he only used the game for one night. So he tried to convince me and finally I grudingly said fine. I guess it is only money. If you can't tell I wasn't the nicest to him. A little bit later he went to say something and stopped himself and said it wasn't very nice so he wouldn't say it.

However the next day I was at the conference with my family and I really wanted this book on CD so I could listen to it on my to and from Blackfoot and he said, "sure if that would make you happy then YES"! Then He asked if he could tell me what he was going to say the day before that was not that nice at the time. I agreed. He said you know I was a little hurt when all I asked to spend was 35 dollars, cause the confernce cost you 47 dollars plus 80 to get to and from Boise and now I am happy to tell you Yes you can buy the CD. Do you think next time you could please see both side of the story.

I felt about an inch tall. How could I have been SOO mean! How could he be SOO Kind! I couldn't say Sorry enough times, and all I wanted to do was give him a hug but I was 300 miles away. I know this story may not seem like much to you guys but it hit my heart pretty strong and has made me be a better person. Please if you are married and reading this try your best to see both sides of the story!

Extra Events

In this blog I will start with the current event that my SISTERS and MOTHER went to and then I will talk about a few events I forgot to blog about earlier this summer.
My Sisters, Mother and I went to Time Out For Women this last weekend! I was a blast even if I missed Dean a little. It was a conference on HOPE and there were many motivational speakers. It was SOOO up lifting and we are planning on go to the conference every year from here on out, as a MOtheR/Daughter weekend! I came home so Happy and uplifted Dean gave me permission to go every year but, he wants to find a couples one to go to also. I think it would be a blast. The conference just makes we want to be so much better!

At the Conference! With my Mom and Sisters.

At PF Changs It was AMAZING!

Me and My Sisters!

My Niece got a hold of my camera and wanted a picture of me so this is Ashlee and me.

This summer Dean and I went on a camping trip I was so much fun!
We Really Enjoy being outside and being together!
The morning of this picture we are fishing and we were rained on many times.
But... you can't tell by the picture cause it turned out beautiful. We were soaked!
It seems to always happen that way. EVERY time Dean and I have gone camping we have been rained on!

Dean caught this fish. Pretty GOOD!

This is the hill we walked down to get to our fishing spot I was a long ways down. And Quite the hike back up. One thing that happend was on the way down Dean got bit by something or hit something the reacted to his skin on the way down, cause when we got down there I looked at him and there was a Huge white spot on his face that was making the side of his mouth droop due to the swelling from the white spot. I automaticly got really scared cause he said it was numb and everytime I looked at it, I could swear it got bigger. Finally I told Dean if it didn't start to get better very soon we were headed back to the car cause we would have to hike up the big hill, walk a mile to the car, and then drive 20 min to the hospital if he needed it. He of course told me not to worry and he wasn't leaving cause he was fishing. Thankfully the swelling started to go down about twenty min later.

Another funny story about this camping trip was as I was setting up camp in a very private area with not a lot of people around. Dean told me there were beware of Bear signs all over! GREAT I thought! There is no one to get help from. So as long as I was 20 yards from the car I was great but when we would go fishing or on hikes I was always looking for Bears and I swore I was going to see one. Don't these camping pictures look like Bears would be in the area. Not to mention as I was hiking down the hill to fish there were Berries all over the sides of the hill. I was sure it was a trap. Dean kept turning around like the picture below to see what I was doing finally he asked why I was so slow and I told be I was scared of the Bears! He got a laugh out of that one! It was a great camping trip! I swear also I am not a whip even though I totally made myself seem like one by telling the stories. As you see I still tagged along for the enjoyment. I figured if I get killed by a bear I was with my one true love! ;)

Last this is a canoe trip Dean and I went on. It was small and relaxing but we loved it!

What is New?

Well since my Birthday, Dean and I have been working hard, but we have also been playing hard! We went to Oregon to see my family and Daniel my brother recieved the Melkezidic Priesthood (Spelt wrong?) then we worked a week and then the next weekend my parents got tickets to Lagoon for 25 dollars so Dean and I joined them! It was a BlAsT! I road all the rides Dean wanted me too even when I thought I was going to have a heart attack! He said it was preparing me for our trip to CaLifOrNia next Year which I am ALSO SOOO excited for! We have been saving for awhile now! Dean is Back in School as of last THurSDay. He is working hard and only has one semester left after this one! It is hard to believe we are almost done with our BYU-Idaho/ Rexburg experience! However we are SO excited to see what will come next! I have been working at the Surgical Center, going through closets at home to get rid of things, going to lots of baby showers and I also have been hanging out with my brother Daniel who is a new Student at BYU-Idaho! Life is a joy I secretly LOVE not having homework, but it is hard not to bother Dean when he does his. Well this is it for now, hope you all are having a great end to your summer!
