Weekend of fun!

The weekend of the 17th Dean's Mom and Brother (Donna and Donald) came for a quick visit :-)
They got here Saturday Morning and that evening we went to the BSU Scrimmage it was fun to see all of this years players!

Also I keep forgetting to post this but awhile ago Dean and I were looking for a dresser for the baby and my Dad had one from when he was little so we decided to take it and redo it. I am SO sad I kept forgetting to take before pictures...(it was a light honey color and it had a lamb on the closet). However below is the finished project. Isn't it it AWESOME!

Dean thanks for doing such a great job and thanks Mom and Dad for letting us have the dresser.

39 Weeks

I have made it yet another week...
This week the Doctor said...
I am Dilated to a 1.5 and 75% effaced. (Wahoo Progress)!!!
He also said he has never known anyone with my condition to make it this far. (Compliment I think) He asked/clarified with me that I knew I wasn't on Bed rest anymore. I assured him I knew and that I have been active and trying to get him to come :-)
I have decided our little one just has a mind of his own and he will come when he and my body want.
Doctor did strip my membranes yesterday and not much of a change that I have noticed except that I am a little more crampy! I hope he comes this week!!! Can't wait to hold and meet him!

38 Weeks!

Below are a few pictures of me at 38 weeks...

Thanks Dean for taking them.

This is what the Doctor said this week... I am still 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. At 39 Week I will have my membranes stripped and then we will see what happens. I asked if I would get induced at 40 weeks and he said no, So I thought 39 weeks and he clarified I would have to wait till 41 weeks if he doesn't come... Here is to hoping I have him before :-)

Dean's Car accident August 23rd

On August 23rd, 2012 I was on my way out to my moms to help can for the day. (Hoping it would make me go into labor) on my way out there I got a call from Dean saying, hey your going to have to come back someone just crashed into my car and I can't drive it. (He was stopped at a red light and the driver behind him didn't stop for the red light and crashed right into the back of him).

When he said this I felt a little numb and said okay. I was so numb I forgot to ask if he was doing okay, but I figured he was since he called me. So I called back and he said his neck and back hurt but he was standing. So I got there, just about the same time as the tow truck, so they took our car (Rex) to the tow yard and we settled things with the cop, Dean explaining what happened since it wasn't his fault and then I took him to the ER to get check out since he was in pain.

They checked him out and sent us home with some pain killers saying it was probably get worse before it gets better.

Poor Dean was out on the couch the rest of the day, in pain and on pain killers.

He is doing better but still goes to the Chiropractor for treatments.

Below are pictures from the wreck.

Inside the truck

On one side it smashed the door shut.

The other side there was a gap in the door

Poor Rex, we do really miss our car (it was totaled) and the gas millage but we are SO grateful Dean is safe!

Birthday Fun!

Well Yesterday I turned 25! I know Crazy! It is hard to believe I am that old! I know it isn't old but time seems to FLY by now!

For my Birthday:
1. My mom came and kidnapped me and took me to RUMBI for lunch. I have never been and it was so yummy! I think it is Hawaiian food
2. Then we went to Joann Fabrics and picked out a blessing outfit pattern for our little guy. (She will be making it out of my wedding dress)
3. Then we went to a new store here in Meridian called Gordmans It was a lot of fun and it is kind of like an upgraded Burlington Coat Factory.
4. Then we went to Shop Ko and Walmart to find a laundry sorter that I have been wanting!
I had a great time with my mom I LOVE girls days out! I am sad though I didn't think to take any pictures...

Dean was getting home around 5 so we planned on being back by then. He was going to take me to dinner and then to Big Als (a new arcade place in town) because I am in LOVE with arcades!... but after we discussed it we decided that the fair only comes around once a year and so we decided to go there instead and look at all the fun things. My parents met us there after awhile it was fun to be with them as well! We all had a ton of Fun! As always the company, Hypnotist, and the food was the best!
