Thanksgiving!

Ok lets try this again... I just wrote a twenty minute post and lost it... So anyway after work on Wednesday Nov 23rd. Dean and I started out on our Journey to Oregon. As many people know there was a total white out blissard the two days before we left. So a trip that takes 5 hours took us 9 hours. It also didn't help that it was below ZERO so our windshield wiper fluid froze and we had to stop every 30 miles and wipe the window off because of all the dirt the semis would throw on it as they drove by. So when we reached Oregon we were quite happy! ThAnKsGiViNg DaY was great Dean went hunting with the boys while I stayed home and cooked with the women (family tradition) Dinner was great and there was a TON of food! After we ate we hungout as family then went to my Aunts house and visited and play games for a bit before we had to go to bed for the DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING SALES. Dean and I love going! We got up at about 3:30- 4ish and headed out! I saved a ton of money, hit GREAT deals, got ALL of my ChRiStMaS shopping done! After we were done shopping we headed out to WaShInGtOn to see some of Dean's family. First we stopped at his Grandma Roos house and visited her in Wanatchee then we stayed with Dean's Aunt Lisa and she gave us some sweet hot chocolate we took regular hot chocolate and put add ins, in it. I had butter pecan, and cocunut in mine and it was SOOO good! The next day we got up and had swedish pancakes (a family tradition in Dean's family) and then spent the rest of the day with Grandma visiting and reminising great times. See the pictures below!

After visiting with Grandma, we went to the Tri Cities area and visited Dean's aunt Sharon and Uncle Richard and their families. After laughing and having a great time. We headed back to Oregon to stay the night with my parents. The next day we got up and headed back to Rexburg so Dean could go to school and I could go to work.
Dean and I are doing GREAT! Dean has one more week and then he will be in his last semester at BYU-Idaho I am so excited for that because it is a light load so maybe I will see him a little more. I am still loving my job at the Surgical Center and the People I work with! Scentsy is going good. I have a few parties coming up and I am excited about them! SO life continues to be busy and it is great because Dean and I try really hard to focus on the important things in life and make sure that they come first!
Happy Holidays EVERYONE!

Bring on SCENTSY

Dean and I, like everyone else I am sure, have ran into a few extra bills this fall and we are finding ourselves a little low on money. Dean has been so busy lately with school and work that there was no way I could ask him to pick up another shift. I work Tuesday through Friday, I thought about picking up another job but didn't want to work every weekend so after much thought and research. I have decided to Sell Scentsy! I am very EXCITED! I love when my house smells good and want others to enjoy the same experience. SO.... if anyone of you, or anyone you know is interested in Scentsy products, then please let me know, we can schedual a party and you can get the host benifits which I think are a pretty good deal. Or if you don't believe you have time for a party in this busy part of the year let me know what you would like and I will order it for you. I can't wait to hear back from you all. If you have Question please call me at 208-881-8338. I may not know all of the answers because I am new but I will find them out and get back to you. Remember Scentsy as you are shopping for Christmas they make GREAT presents.

Blessings in Life

Blessing # 1
Well we have had some wonderful blessing in our life this month! First Dean got his Dream Job working for Edward Jones Investments. HOOORRAY!!! He starts after graduation either in April or June that is still up in the air for another week or so until we hear what Edward Jones wants us to do. We will be moving to Tempe Arizona area for about eight months for a training program and then we hope to move back to the Boise area and settle down. However that is far in the future and we will see where we get placed and we'll see what Heavenly Father has in store for us. We are very excited and look forward to all of the adventures in store!

This is a picture of the area we will live in.
(a little bigger then any other place I've lived, SCARY BUT... SOOOO EXCITING!)

Blessing # 2
Well a few days ago Dean lost his wedding ring : ( He looked for hours and hours and prayed to find it. He couldn't I came home the next day from Blackfoot and work and looked for it for about three more hours and I couldn't find it either. I was getting discouraged we had prayed and thought we knew where it could be. I took my whole room apart and still nothing. It was late and I need to get up the next morning for work so I decided to go to bed and the only place in the apartment I didn't look was the garbage cans so I was tired and told Dean just don't dump them I want to look in them. It was Wednesday and I wouldn't be home again till Friday and I knew Dean wouldn't wait that long to dump the garbage and I wasn't sure he would actually look in it before he threw it away. SO... I got out of bed and went and got a pair of gloves and started to dig through the garbage. A few minutes later and a gasp from me I found the ring in the kitchen garbage Dean didn't believe me for a second but, then he saw it in my hand. He said he didn't look there cause he honestly thought it couldn't be there! I am just so grateful I was prompted to look there and that it didn't get thrown away!

I believe the Lord knows what we need in life and that everything works out like it should. Our job in it is to just have the best attitude we can have and take life as it comes because... IT WILL ALL WORK OUT!

A new Life lesson!

I know TWO blogs in one day! I NEVER do that but this is more for me and a life lesson, I learned this last weekend. I want to remember it so I will not make the same mistake and I will be humbled.

Ok so here it is I AM NOT PERFECT. I know SUPRISE! No I am kidding but I did realize how unperfect I was. So the story is, I went to a womens conference with my sisters and mother last weekend. So Dean decided to have a guys night out. I thought that was a Great thing to do while I was gone so he invited his guy friends. Well as I was on my way to Boise Dean called and asked if he could by a video game and then sell it later so he would only get back about two-thirds of what be bought it for. I let him know I didn't really like the Idea of spending 65 dollars on a game and only getting 50 of it back when he only used the game for one night. So he tried to convince me and finally I grudingly said fine. I guess it is only money. If you can't tell I wasn't the nicest to him. A little bit later he went to say something and stopped himself and said it wasn't very nice so he wouldn't say it.

However the next day I was at the conference with my family and I really wanted this book on CD so I could listen to it on my to and from Blackfoot and he said, "sure if that would make you happy then YES"! Then He asked if he could tell me what he was going to say the day before that was not that nice at the time. I agreed. He said you know I was a little hurt when all I asked to spend was 35 dollars, cause the confernce cost you 47 dollars plus 80 to get to and from Boise and now I am happy to tell you Yes you can buy the CD. Do you think next time you could please see both side of the story.

I felt about an inch tall. How could I have been SOO mean! How could he be SOO Kind! I couldn't say Sorry enough times, and all I wanted to do was give him a hug but I was 300 miles away. I know this story may not seem like much to you guys but it hit my heart pretty strong and has made me be a better person. Please if you are married and reading this try your best to see both sides of the story!

Extra Events

In this blog I will start with the current event that my SISTERS and MOTHER went to and then I will talk about a few events I forgot to blog about earlier this summer.
My Sisters, Mother and I went to Time Out For Women this last weekend! I was a blast even if I missed Dean a little. It was a conference on HOPE and there were many motivational speakers. It was SOOO up lifting and we are planning on go to the conference every year from here on out, as a MOtheR/Daughter weekend! I came home so Happy and uplifted Dean gave me permission to go every year but, he wants to find a couples one to go to also. I think it would be a blast. The conference just makes we want to be so much better!

At the Conference! With my Mom and Sisters.

At PF Changs It was AMAZING!

Me and My Sisters!

My Niece got a hold of my camera and wanted a picture of me so this is Ashlee and me.

This summer Dean and I went on a camping trip I was so much fun!
We Really Enjoy being outside and being together!
The morning of this picture we are fishing and we were rained on many times.
But... you can't tell by the picture cause it turned out beautiful. We were soaked!
It seems to always happen that way. EVERY time Dean and I have gone camping we have been rained on!

Dean caught this fish. Pretty GOOD!

This is the hill we walked down to get to our fishing spot I was a long ways down. And Quite the hike back up. One thing that happend was on the way down Dean got bit by something or hit something the reacted to his skin on the way down, cause when we got down there I looked at him and there was a Huge white spot on his face that was making the side of his mouth droop due to the swelling from the white spot. I automaticly got really scared cause he said it was numb and everytime I looked at it, I could swear it got bigger. Finally I told Dean if it didn't start to get better very soon we were headed back to the car cause we would have to hike up the big hill, walk a mile to the car, and then drive 20 min to the hospital if he needed it. He of course told me not to worry and he wasn't leaving cause he was fishing. Thankfully the swelling started to go down about twenty min later.

Another funny story about this camping trip was as I was setting up camp in a very private area with not a lot of people around. Dean told me there were beware of Bear signs all over! GREAT I thought! There is no one to get help from. So as long as I was 20 yards from the car I was great but when we would go fishing or on hikes I was always looking for Bears and I swore I was going to see one. Don't these camping pictures look like Bears would be in the area. Not to mention as I was hiking down the hill to fish there were Berries all over the sides of the hill. I was sure it was a trap. Dean kept turning around like the picture below to see what I was doing finally he asked why I was so slow and I told be I was scared of the Bears! He got a laugh out of that one! It was a great camping trip! I swear also I am not a whip even though I totally made myself seem like one by telling the stories. As you see I still tagged along for the enjoyment. I figured if I get killed by a bear I was with my one true love! ;)

Last this is a canoe trip Dean and I went on. It was small and relaxing but we loved it!

What is New?

Well since my Birthday, Dean and I have been working hard, but we have also been playing hard! We went to Oregon to see my family and Daniel my brother recieved the Melkezidic Priesthood (Spelt wrong?) then we worked a week and then the next weekend my parents got tickets to Lagoon for 25 dollars so Dean and I joined them! It was a BlAsT! I road all the rides Dean wanted me too even when I thought I was going to have a heart attack! He said it was preparing me for our trip to CaLifOrNia next Year which I am ALSO SOOO excited for! We have been saving for awhile now! Dean is Back in School as of last THurSDay. He is working hard and only has one semester left after this one! It is hard to believe we are almost done with our BYU-Idaho/ Rexburg experience! However we are SO excited to see what will come next! I have been working at the Surgical Center, going through closets at home to get rid of things, going to lots of baby showers and I also have been hanging out with my brother Daniel who is a new Student at BYU-Idaho! Life is a joy I secretly LOVE not having homework, but it is hard not to bother Dean when he does his. Well this is it for now, hope you all are having a great end to your summer!
