Visiting/Saying good bye to Grandma Roos

On the morning of March 9th we got a call for Dean's Aunt Lisa telling Dean grandma wanted to say goodbye to him. So I gave the phone to Dean and he talked to Grandma Roos for a a few minutes. After he got off the phone I asked him if he thought if we left now we could make it in time to say goodbye in person. He said it sounded like she could go any minute but we can try. So We got dressed and called Dean's little Brother Donald who was conveniently in Boise for school and asked if he wanted to come. He did of course, so the three of us got in the car and drove to Washington. About the time we got to Baker Lisa called back and said Grandma is doing better and they figured out what was going on and they thought she could possible live for awhile longer. Since we were already on our way we kept going cause we didn't know when or if we would have to chance to see her again, she is 92, and it sounded like she had some other medical problems as well. So we got there and she was doing pretty good.

Since family heard Grandma wasn't doing good a lot of family came to see her. So we decided to have a Birthday party (grandma's birthday is in July)/family reunion/ living funeral for Grandma! I was a lot of fun, Grandma was telling us lots of stories, she was laughing, and was very happy and energetic, it was great to have so much family there.
