The Week of Thanksgiving!

Well this last week has been SO fun. Last Tuesday I picked up Dean's Mom and Brother from the Airport. I brought them back to our house and while they got settled I headed back to work for a few hours. Wednesday we went to the Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, while Dean was at work.

Thursday (Thanksgiving) morning Dean went and played at the Turkey Bowl while I went and got my Black Friday ads. When we got back we got ready and went to Dean's cousins house in Phoenix for Thanksgiving dinner. It was soooo yummy and we were all stuffed! After dinner we drove around and showed Dean's mom and brother Phoenix. Then we came back home looked at the Black friday ads, and got ready to head out for an all nighter! It was a lot of fun. But both Dean and I really enjoy it. He likes to watch the crowds and I like the good deals. So we got back about 9:30am and we all fell asleep. I woke up about about 1:30 and couldn't sleep any longer. So while everyone was sleeping. I went out to find a few more Christmas presents. Then we just hung out the rest of the day.

Saturday we slept in and then Dean and Donald got a hair cut. I made a pie while they were out because we had a early Christmas with his family because we wont be with then over Christmas. Saturday afternoon/evening Dean, I, and Donald went to the Phoenix Coyotes Hockey Game! It was SOOO much fun! We would LOVE to go again!

Sunday we went to church, and then came home and finished our WAY yummy dinner, we had ham, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, pie, yams, and salad.

After we opened presents we went to the Mesa Temple to look at the Christmas Lights! They were BEAUTIFUL. It was like walking through a garden filled of lights. Here are the Pictures below.

It was such a fun week and it was quite relaxing! I enjoyed the few days I got to be with Dean and his family. I LOVE the Holidays and the spirit it brings.

A weekend with the Elkins in Vegas

A few weeks ago Dean and I decided to go and visit the Elkins. (Dean went to High School with Brian). It was really fun, it went fast but it was really relaxing! On Saturday they took us to the air show at Nellis Air Force base. (Brian is in the Air Force) I had never been to an air show and it was really fun. I was surprised how BIG the plans were, and it was pretty cool to have them flying over our heads. The pictures below are of the show.

TIme Out for Women and Sunday Afternoon!

First I want to say sorry cause I didn't think to take my camera and so these Time Out for Women Pictures are from my phone and they didn't turn out the best.

Ok So this last weekend myself and some of my friends went to Time Out for Women. Which if you don't know what that is. It is a women's conference with motivational speakers. In other words it is a good "pic me up!" Lets just say it was amazing as always and you walk away wanting to be better.

This first picture is with Kris Belcher. She is blind do to cancer she had in her retina. She still had site in one eye until a few years ago and then the radiation she had from her first round of cancer. Gave her cancer the second time. Causing her to loose all of her site. She was so funny and sweet!!! I love the stories she tells. So below is Kris Belcher, me and my friend Jen.

As many of you will know this next person. Hilary Weeks. She is an amazing song writer and she is SOOOO funny! If you want to see some of her stuff she is all over You Tube!

I had such a good time and the speakers were awesome! It was so good to hear the things they said and take their advice. I REALLY needed to hear some of it. Plus it is always fun to hang with the girls!

Well Sunday Dean and I decided we wanted to get out and be outside because the weather is AMAZING!!! (Sorry all my Idaho friends, who are dealing with SNOW this weekend) so we went to Discovering park. It was awesome. My favorite part was if you took a piece of bread and held it under water TONS of fish would come eat it out of your fingers. I was a weird feeling and I freaked out the first few times but it was really cool. So here are some pictures from the park.

I have been wanting to get a picture of these flower bushes for awhile cause I think they are Really pretty!

If you look where my finger is pointing that is the Gilbert Temple they are building. It is going up FAST. We went by a month ago and none of the steel beams were up.
