Valentines Day

Well this time of year is a special for Dean and I, because Dean two years ago this time of year purposed to me with Valentine conversation hearts that said "Marry Me" Valentines Day has to be one of my favorite holidays! Dean had to work on Valentines Day so I got up with him to say good morning also because, I had a whole day of work planned for his big surprise! As I was cleaning the house getting ready there was a knock on my door, I opened it, and on the door step were the flowers below. They came in the mail and when I first looked at them they looked pretty lifeless and I was nervous for Dean to see them because he was going to feel bad that they didn't look awesome. But then I found some instructions on how to care for them so I followed the directions and with in a hour below is what they looked like.

They were beautiful! They even came with a little box of Chocolates I thought they were cute. The box said they would last a week and today is one week later and most of the flowers still look pretty good! I have to say I was very impressed!
After the house was cleaned I put Dean's present together it was a basket of goodies and a pair of Basketball shoes. He LOVED it. and I was SO happy!

This is what Dean saw when he walked in.

I also made Dean Dinner his favorite, Mexican food! This was the dinner table for the night.

For Dinner we had Rice, Beans, and enchiladas. The rice was my favorite it tasted JUST like a resturants.

It was a wonderful Valentines Day, I am SO lucky to have Dean in my life. He is SO good to me and I ALWAYS look forward to the time we get to spend together. Below are ten things I love about Dean. A WeeKEnd get away!

Well I have been missing Dean like crazy lately and it seemed like with work, school, and other things that occupy our lives we hadn't spent much alone time together. The holidays were great and we saw each other a lot but we were never alone. So I asked Dean to plan a weekend get away, because he had Monday off of school. This is what he came up with! He used our time share and we were able to stay in West Yellowstone! SOOO much fun! The first few pictures are of the place we stayed. It was wounderful, not pictured was the swimming pool, spa, game room, and exercise room!
This is the whole resort.

Below is our bedroom.

This is the Kitchen in our room so we could save money and not eat out All of the time!

And this we our living room with the fire place! Loved it! and the view was so pretty especially in the morning.

Dean surprised me and took me snow shoeing it was a ton of fun but a lot more work then I thought. I was so hot and sweating, and my hip flexors were killing me when we got back, but I loved the work out. This was where the trail ended for snow shoeing it was beautiful.

So glad we went.

This was at the main entrance at the resort. I thought it was cool so we took a picture.

We ate out twice while we were there, we each got to pick a place. We ate at the Wild West Pizza. (IT WAS SOOOO GOOD!)
My favorite meal to eat out is Breakfast so this morning we went to trappers. It was pretty good also.
Below is a couple of pictures of us at trappers.

Since January is almost over I decided I should write down the goals I want to do this year.

Spiritual
1. Read all of the standard works. (it is only 7 pages a day)
2.Go to the temple every other week.
3.Search for more ways to serve people
4.Learn more about Christ
5.Continue to have nightly scripture study with Dean

Physical

1.Work out at least 4 times a week
2.Better obey my biggest loser diet.

Personal
1. Write in my journal daily, including things I am grateful that Dean does for me and how I have seen the Lords hand that day.
2. For every discouraged thought I have. Trade it with a positive one.
3. Blog at least monthly
4. Go through and organize my whole apartment

Thanksgiving!

Ok lets try this again... I just wrote a twenty minute post and lost it... So anyway after work on Wednesday Nov 23rd. Dean and I started out on our Journey to Oregon. As many people know there was a total white out blissard the two days before we left. So a trip that takes 5 hours took us 9 hours. It also didn't help that it was below ZERO so our windshield wiper fluid froze and we had to stop every 30 miles and wipe the window off because of all the dirt the semis would throw on it as they drove by. So when we reached Oregon we were quite happy! ThAnKsGiViNg DaY was great Dean went hunting with the boys while I stayed home and cooked with the women (family tradition) Dinner was great and there was a TON of food! After we ate we hungout as family then went to my Aunts house and visited and play games for a bit before we had to go to bed for the DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING SALES. Dean and I love going! We got up at about 3:30- 4ish and headed out! I saved a ton of money, hit GREAT deals, got ALL of my ChRiStMaS shopping done! After we were done shopping we headed out to WaShInGtOn to see some of Dean's family. First we stopped at his Grandma Roos house and visited her in Wanatchee then we stayed with Dean's Aunt Lisa and she gave us some sweet hot chocolate we took regular hot chocolate and put add ins, in it. I had butter pecan, and cocunut in mine and it was SOOO good! The next day we got up and had swedish pancakes (a family tradition in Dean's family) and then spent the rest of the day with Grandma visiting and reminising great times. See the pictures below!

After visiting with Grandma, we went to the Tri Cities area and visited Dean's aunt Sharon and Uncle Richard and their families. After laughing and having a great time. We headed back to Oregon to stay the night with my parents. The next day we got up and headed back to Rexburg so Dean could go to school and I could go to work.
Dean and I are doing GREAT! Dean has one more week and then he will be in his last semester at BYU-Idaho I am so excited for that because it is a light load so maybe I will see him a little more. I am still loving my job at the Surgical Center and the People I work with! Scentsy is going good. I have a few parties coming up and I am excited about them! SO life continues to be busy and it is great because Dean and I try really hard to focus on the important things in life and make sure that they come first!
Happy Holidays EVERYONE!

Bring on SCENTSY

Dean and I, like everyone else I am sure, have ran into a few extra bills this fall and we are finding ourselves a little low on money. Dean has been so busy lately with school and work that there was no way I could ask him to pick up another shift. I work Tuesday through Friday, I thought about picking up another job but didn't want to work every weekend so after much thought and research. I have decided to Sell Scentsy! I am very EXCITED! I love when my house smells good and want others to enjoy the same experience. SO.... if anyone of you, or anyone you know is interested in Scentsy products, then please let me know, we can schedual a party and you can get the host benifits which I think are a pretty good deal. Or if you don't believe you have time for a party in this busy part of the year let me know what you would like and I will order it for you. I can't wait to hear back from you all. If you have Question please call me at 208-881-8338. I may not know all of the answers because I am new but I will find them out and get back to you. Remember Scentsy as you are shopping for Christmas they make GREAT presents.
Have a great day!

Blessings in Life

Blessing # 1
Well we have had some wonderful blessing in our life this month! First Dean got his Dream Job working for Edward Jones Investments. HOOORRAY!!! He starts after graduation either in April or June that is still up in the air for another week or so until we hear what Edward Jones wants us to do. We will be moving to Tempe Arizona area for about eight months for a training program and then we hope to move back to the Boise area and settle down. However that is far in the future and we will see where we get placed and we'll see what Heavenly Father has in store for us. We are very excited and look forward to all of the adventures in store!

This is a picture of the area we will live in.
(a little bigger then any other place I've lived, SCARY BUT... SOOOO EXCITING!)

Blessing # 2
Well a few days ago Dean lost his wedding ring : ( He looked for hours and hours and prayed to find it. He couldn't I came home the next day from Blackfoot and work and looked for it for about three more hours and I couldn't find it either. I was getting discouraged we had prayed and thought we knew where it could be. I took my whole room apart and still nothing. It was late and I need to get up the next morning for work so I decided to go to bed and the only place in the apartment I didn't look was the garbage cans so I was tired and told Dean just don't dump them I want to look in them. It was Wednesday and I wouldn't be home again till Friday and I knew Dean wouldn't wait that long to dump the garbage and I wasn't sure he would actually look in it before he threw it away. SO... I got out of bed and went and got a pair of gloves and started to dig through the garbage. A few minutes later and a gasp from me I found the ring in the kitchen garbage Dean didn't believe me for a second but, then he saw it in my hand. He said he didn't look there cause he honestly thought it couldn't be there! I am just so grateful I was prompted to look there and that it didn't get thrown away!

I believe the Lord knows what we need in life and that everything works out like it should. Our job in it is to just have the best attitude we can have and take life as it comes because... IT WILL ALL WORK OUT!
