First I want to say we missed having our new sister Erin while on this trip!
In the Spring time we were at a family function and us girls got talking about how we need to go on a girls trip. My mom has ALWAYS wanted to see Celine Dion in concert SO we FINALLY after years of talking decided to bite the bullet and go to her concert in VEGAS!!!
Shortly after deciding we were going tickets for the concert were booked and Katie booked her flight from Montana to meet us there. The rest of us decided to drive... A decision I am pretty sure we would never do again. 10 hours of driving in the desert vs 2 hour flight hum...
The day we were leaving we found out that Celine Dion had canceled ALL of her shows! WE were SO bummed but we already had the timeshare booked and Kaite had her plane tickets so we still went and had a blast!
Well the next few pics were the night we left. I worked the night before, my sisters and I waited for our hubbies to get off work then we hit the road.
Saying see you soon to Max! Love him so much!
Love this picture of us.
I felt bad Max had a bit of a hard time.
But he settled down.
Well about Twin Falls we got ourselves in one of if not the worst rain storm we have ever been in, but we made it through!
We spent the night halfway to Vegas in the truck stop town. In a VERY small and some what scary Motel. Won't do that again hahaha.
We woke up early the next morning to continue our drive to pick up Katie at the Airport at noon or so.
On the road again!
Katie getting off the plane!
SO EXCITED LET THE PLAYING BEGIN!!!
First we went to the timeshare checked in, dropped off our stuff so nothing would melt/ get stolen in the car! Then we went and toured a chocolate factory!
Katie getting her shot of M&Ms
In the gift shop at the Chocolate factory a pic with ALL 5 of us!
The assembly line at the chocolate factory!
Outside the chocolate factory they had a Cactus garden. It is always fun to see things we don't normally see here in Idaho!
Looking at the Catus
After the tour we drove the strip to show everyone where everything was.
Of course one of the most important places! M&M world!
After driving the strip we parked at circus circus and walked around a bit!
This was in Circus Circus. This all took place over my birthday weekend!
The Coca Cola store
Hanging and Dancing with this M&M on the strip.
Once it got dark we always tried to go back to the timeshare before the craziness started to happen!
Back to our car a Cirus Circus we went! Whitney was so smart and suggested we ride public transportation of the weekend. I think it was like 8 dollars a day. SO worth it. Don't think I'll go Vegas again without doing it cause there is SO much walking to be done and you want energy to do other things!
Something we wanted to do was go to a buffet, I particularly wanted to go to a Seafood buffet. So we found this buffet that was like 35-40 dollars but it was an ALL day buffet. So we got wrist bands and ate Breakfast, lunch and dinner at this great buffet!
Yummy Breakfast!
It is pretty cool to see ALL of the decorations in the casinos.
These pictures were for Dean since he Really Likes Coke!
Some pics outside the casinos.
Always got to love a desert bar!
At the Hershey Chocolate store!
Could you image every having a bottle this big!
Made out of Chocolate!
Lunch at the buffet!
Dinner at the Buffet!
This cake was SO good!
One of the nights we went down to Freemont street to see the big screen!
We didn't stay long at all maybe 20 mins because in that 20 mins we saw a guy get arrested and some very funny dressed individuals. It was a neat thing to see all the lights though!
The next and last day in Vegas we woke up and went to the Las Vegas Temple. It was beautiful as always!
One thing someone told us to try was on the outside if the temple there are circle platforms and if you look at the tree and talk while you are in the center it echos/talks back. It was true and SO cool!
So that is what mom is doing here!
After the temple we went shopping at the outlet mall and went and got pedicures! SO much fun LOVE spending time with these ladies!
I am sure Kaite and Whitney especially LOVED the Pedi's being that both of them were several months pregnant!
My toes after. I even got a free accent for it being my birthday!
All of our toes!
That night we went and got cheese cake from cheese cake factory cause it is one of Katies favorites and they don't have it in Montana. On the trip we also Blue Bell Ice Cream to make Daniel a little jealous (it's a mission thing)
Lastly we found my mom a Rubio's (Dean and I got her hooked on it when we lived in Arizona) and she got her a fish taco!!!
Can't tell she was a little excited!
I love being with these girls it is SO fun and I am so glad my sisters and I are SO close!
Love you all!
