Dean and I decided to go alone this year and have a weekend get away Thursday - Sunday
So we flew into Washington and then drove to Coeur d'alene where we stayed at the Coeur d'alene resort. Dean had some meetings when we got there so he went to them while I settled into the room and relaxed. Later that night we all met together and had an opening meeting.
Friday Dean had meetings until 12 and then was free until about 6pm so we did a couples Ropes Course! It was so fun.
First station the hang you from a cable on the back and you pull a rope and you fall 50 feet. It was a blast!
Next you stand on the top of a very high pole, jump off, and try to ring the bell.
Then we did couples ladders they were fun! At times I got a bit nervous cause it felt so high up but with Dean there he made it better.
This was definitely the hardest couples ladder to do because the rungs get further apart the higher you go.
Lastly you go zip lining on a few different strings. The last zip line was the scariest because it is shaped like a U so you jump strait down then it pulls you up.
On the way back from the zip line we had to stop by a restaurant Dean use to stop at when visiting his family in Washington.
After getting a snack we went back to the resort and got ready to go on the cruise around the lake. It was beautiful and I don't know why I didn't take any pictures... :-/ Then we came back and visited with people for awhile and then relaxed.
Saturday while Dean was in meetings I went shopping.
After his meetings we just hung out and walked around until the awards dinner.
