An update!

Well these last few weeks have flown. The first part of this blog are some picture of a few months ago I got them off of my mom's camera and loved them so here they are...

Some Pictures of Arizona as we arrived and while Mom and Michelle were here dropping us off.

At the visitors center Dean, me, and Kaitlyn (love the palm trees)

An orange tree. I think it is the first one I have seen. It is a sour orange tree from what I heard it has the longest roots and that is why it is at the temple :)

Cool nature garden at the temple. Mom blends right in.

Temple grounds

The beautiful Mesa Temple!!!

The rest of us by the nature garden.

Awesome Pic of a palm tree. (Good job mom)

Well now I am caught up on all my other pictures Now for the last few weeks. Well Dean went to Boise for Business for two weeks and I kept trying to find a way that maybe I could go see him for a weekend. But is wasn't working I couldn't find a half way different priced ticket and I hadn't talked to my boss about getting time off. So I didn't worry about it and I planned on working and doing projects while he was gone. So these are those projects.

I made pillows and put a couch cover on the couch so it matched our living room finally and looked more classy.

Pictures are below:

The finished project.

So a few days after I thought there wasn't anyway I was going to Boise. I wasn't at work and didn't look like was going to be very busy for the next week so I started to look for plane tickets and I found a half way okay priced one and I called my boss and asked if she needed me and if not could fly to Boise for the WHOLE next week. She gave me the okay, SO I bought the ticket and flew to Boise two days later. Hence the picture below.

Leaving Phoenix...

One of the reasons I was really excited to go to Boise (besides to see Dean) was to meet my NEW niece Aubry Ann Thornley

So I got into Boise Saturday night late and headed to Adrian to stay the night. Sunday was conference so we got together as a big family and had a big dinner. I have had three new nieces born since June and here they are... Oldest to youngest and Biggest to smallest. Kaitlyn, Brielle, Aubry. SOO Sweet huh?

Sunday evening Dean and I went back to the Bed and Breakfast he was staying at in Emmett (Frozen Dog Digs). It was awesome because when Dean was staying there the week before he was staying in a room with a bathroom. But it wasn't a suite or anything however, when we arrived the owner put us up in the anniversary suite. The pictures are below. There was a small kitchen, a king size bed, a surround sound, and a jacuzzi tub. It was so much fun. We stay really busy the whole week and only got to see each other at night but it was a great place to stay.

So the week was great and it was so fun to see family. Monday I picked grapes, canned pears, and hung out with Mom and Michelle. Tuesday we got together as Sisters and Mom and went shopping for crafts we wanted to do the next day it was a lot of fun and Hobby Lobby is awesome!

Wednesday we got together and did crafts all day, I made sugar cookies, a board of when Dean and I were married, and a hair bow. I also had a lot of cuddle times with my baby nieces.

Me with the babies Brielle, Kaitlyn, and Aubry

Mark and Mom went hunting and Kayden got all dressed up cause he wanted to go so bad. Isn't he cute!

My Brother Brian got his Buck! He loves this pic. cause he got it with Daniel's gun who is on a mission. ; )

Pretty Nice huh?

Thursday Mom and I hung out, after she helped Brian with his buck. We went to my Grandma and pa Brysons house and talked to them for a bit, and then we went and got dessert and window shopped. That night we went to dinner at the Olive Garden with all the Adults, it was a ton of fun.
Mom and I on a girls day!

The Kids frosting sugar cookies. (We did more cookies and crafts on Friday)

Baby Brielle Smiling away!

On Friday I road with Dad for a bit in the potato truck so here are some pics of potato harvest.

Friday Michelle and Mom took me back to Emmett and after a few minutes of driving I looked in the back seat and saw this...

Sunday the day after we got back to Arizona Dean and I did something we do quite often look at cool houses. I have been wanting to get some pics of houses in AZ because I think they are so cool looking. So here are the pics of a few.

These last few week have been a lot of fun and have just flown by.

9/11

I just wanted to take down a note of where Dean and I were Ten years ago on 9/11/01 when the twin towers were hit.

I (Cynthia) was walking into Mrs. Gordan's class in 8th grade. I remember her getting frustrated and shushing us because we were talking. So we sat quietly and I had someone explain to me exactly what the twin towers were cause I was a "little" uninformed in that area. Then I remember it hitting me pretty hard when the second tower was hit. We sat and watched the TV most the rest of the day to see the results, and then the pentagon was hit and the other plane in the field. My heart goes out to those that were affected 10 years ago. It is so touching to hear all the stories on this ten year anniversary. I think it hits me harder now that I am older and I understand it more. Thank you to all those who sacrificed their lives, Especially those who died trying to save others.

Dean was on his way to school when heard on the radio and then he was in welding class when the second tower was hit.

Labor Day Weekend.

Well Dean and I wanted to try and get out of the HEAT for a day so we went up to Sedona AZ. It was a little cooler we came from 112 degrees ish... and went to 102 degrees. So... it didn't seem like that much of a difference but we did feel like staying outside a little longer so we went on a hike. Here are some of the pictures from it...

Dean posing with a prickly pear bush. (Sad thing... he thought he touched it where there were not thorns but... I guess it still had some unseen tiny ones, Dean and I spent sometime afterward trying to get them out.) So note to the wise... Don't touch them.

I LOVED all of the Red Rock!!!

I also liked the little cliffs we had to climb up to continue on the "red brick road"

We had to laugh about this cactus. It was totally cut that way by man but it was still cool.

Pac Man

We found these pools of water on the trail and they were FULL of tad poles!

I LOVE hanging out, playing, and be adventurous with Dean!

Along the way we found this HUGE wash out. People were standing all around it so we were wondering what they found and so we climbed up a little ledge and saw this...

If you look to the left that is a huge chunk of rock that fell out of the side of the mountain. It was pretty awesome looking!

Almost at the end of the hike! I was pooped, Guess I didn't realize how good of a workout hiking can be!

We had a lot of fun hiking, but we were both pretty tired at the end and our feet hurt. We planned on walking around some of the shops but instead, we got a drink and headed home to relax. We did enjoy ourselves though and we want to do more hiking in the future.
